Beneventano Aglianico

Great Aglianico for the price. Great tannin and subtle fruit with a velvety cacao finish.

Really nice aglianico. Smooth, minimal funk. Went great with dinner.

I had high expectations for this volcano wine but found it too sour. I started enjoying it a bit by the last glass, so either it finally opened up (I decanted for about 30 minutes before drinking) or my palate had dulled by then.

Good for getting the Mrs liquored.

味はもちろん良いのだが、この価格でこの香りと複雑味は稀有ですばらしい。

Needs a full meal, like when you're in a hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, getting the menu read to you in English by a Portuguese princess.

Hmm, good heavy tannic southern wine but no special character. Compared to my previous rating, less impressed this time.

Light, fruity, subtle tannins, balanced, great value

Very drinkable wine. Soft feel and finish. First time with the varietal, looking forward to trying more.

Not bad for the price. Would drink again.
