Delicious with bright fruity flavors without the sour. — 3 years ago
Just as good as last time. Paired nicely with roasted branzino and couscous salad. Purchased at Popina in Brooklyn, NY. — 5 years ago

Golden Delicious Apple and ripe pear with toasty, yeasty finish. — a year ago
Nice Ruby color with an array of fruit, floral and spice aromas. On the palate cherry, currant and raspberry flavors with some fresh cinnamon and smoky oak notes. Vibrant acidity, elegant fine tannins, well balanced just starting to wake up, long finish ending with slight earthy mineral notes, plenty of depth, will continue to develop. Nice! — 3 years ago
Drinking beautifully at 12 years. No chemicals used in the now 70 year old Melon vineyards. Lemon and lime peel, chamomile and a certain unctuousness. Round and very bright palate with a creamy feel from long lees aging with bâtonnage. Nearing its peak. Applaud this Muscadet Sèvre et Maine AOC wine from Edouard Massart. (super pairing with Ottolenghi roasted celery root steaks!) — 5 years ago
Nose has toasted nuts, grilled bread, oxidized red apple, day old lemon pith, golden raisin and apple turnover with sugar glaze.
Palate has lively acid, delicate iodine over green apple, warm honey drizzle on toasted challah bread and delicate toasted oak notes. Long and powerful finish, pure, emotional enjoyment.

ginger candy, nougat, rye bread, and faint notes of numerous tropical & citrus fruits w apples & pears
palate as above but add minerality, limestone chalkiness, and tonic ~ as well as golden sultanas to the broad fruit profile
very forward and focused ~ slight mid palate ~ good length ~ delivers a wealth of complexity in a compact space — 3 years ago
Very pleasant and yummy 2018 — 5 years ago
We just got to know the Ravaut wines through our friend and Sommelier Edouard Bourgeois. Really good Ladoix Premier Cru with red and dark berries, crushed flowers and great balance and acidity. Medium bodied and with great potential for cellaring but accessible now if decanted. Recommended ! — 6 years ago

Actually Mourvedre 100%
I was recommended to try this over the Grenache that is also very good i was told but this wine had a smoother tannin and potentially i could served it chilled too.
..well, i didn't drink it chilled, but i see what my friend meant..i am learning to appreciate chilled reds up here, i realise that you cannot have big reds when it is particularly warm weather and i must admit it makes sense.
The wine is delicious btw
On the nose it has a floral violet scent that i deeply loved. It has a good crunchy fruit that varied from sour cherry to fuji apple to pomegranate. A lovely mineral character too.
Palate is crunchy, vibrant and smooth.
It is hard to detect the tannin which in a mourvedre is rare.
I guess it has been tamed pretty well.
However this is not a thin wine, it has its structure and a long finish.
Only 2650 bottles produced.
I had Edouard Maurisset with me on the road representing the Delaunay wines from Burgundy and he is business partner with Michael and Claire who are more local to McLaren Vale.
It is a great project.
We visited one of my customer and literally bumped in their wines.
That's how i met this wine.
Great discover. — a year ago
