Pure Bordeaux Sauvignon Blanc 2018

Lemon on the nose, nice herbal tasting notes. Easy drinking as a stand alone, but would pair nicely with a white wine & garlic pasta dish or fish. — 6 months ago

Château Doisy-Daëne

Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend 2011

Chateau’s Second Cru Classe in 1855, located in Barsac in the Sauternes appellation, has been in the Dubourdieu family since 1924. Big bouquet of ripe sweet stone fruits and citrus floral scents. On the palate peach and honey flavors adding in some sweet orange citrus showing off the "noble rot" fruit. Lingering finish ending with sweet mineral character. Very Nice! Graves Blanc White Bordeaux Blend 2015

2015. Wonderful peachy-vanilla nose. Tasted also a bit of lime. Purchased when I was told that this was one of the last white Bordeaux wines by winemaker Denis Dubourdieu, intriguing story so I had to try it. — 2 years ago

Château Haura

Graves Red Bordeaux Blend 2010

Beautiful aromatics, well balanced with soft tannins. Drinking great right now. I opened this in honor of the passing of the great scientist Mr. Dubourdieu — 5 years ago
