Electric lime. Magically smooth. — 11 years ago
100% Garnacha, cherry red with light violet reflexes.
It has a penetrating aroma of ripe red fruit, pepper, coffee, first it shows notes of plum and currant jam and cinnamon notes appear later. It is a structured fruity wine, ripe tannins, soft and dense. It is long and very fresh.
Probably the most beautiful Guinardera so far! 91+DSP — 11 years ago
Deep ruby red in color.
In the nose: Wowww, a very nice bouquet of Sun riped dark fruit with black berries and wild cherry, pepper, nicely integrated wood, tobacco, autumn forest.
In the mouth: powerful. Soft acidity, with existing but butter soft tannins. Huge concentration. Great long finish. Beautiful mature wine.
The interplay of fruit and tannins that sooo mouth caressing and super fruit-mineral-berry finish, and a snowflake of dark chocolate................. gorgeous!!!

Laurel 2011 is a blend of 75% Garnacha, 20% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon.
No Clos Erasmus in 2011 so all the grapes went to the Laurel!
A wonderful nose with ripe black fruits, cassis notes, herbs from the hills of Gratallops, tobacco, earth, fine cedar, mocha, medium to full bodied with layers of ripe fruit flavors, Llicorella, creamy notes, delicate melting tannins, impeccable balance, vanilla, a snowflake of dark chocolate on the long long aftertaste ! 95 DSP — 7 years ago
Curius how this is envolved over the last 5 years !
Decanted for 3 hours,
The nose is great with blueberries, blackberries, plum, tabacco, cedarwood, pencilshaving, classic nose that devellopes with more air.
Cassis and dark fruit on the palate with vanilla, chocolate and good acidity, integrated but smooth tannins are still pressent, drinking well now but with a few years cellering this wine will, I think, improve ! Now 93 DSP — 10 years ago
Perhaps the best vodka in the world? Viognier makes for a very aromatic nose. Fruit and nutty flavors on the palate. NOT A NEUTRAL SPIRIT. So good. — 11 years ago
Of course too young, but many Priorato's are very nice to drink in this young stage/trials before they locked.
Very nice complex bouquet, blue berries, Bay leaves, dark chocolate, cedar wood and autumn forest with a mineral key.
Fresh on the palate fantastic juicy, incredibly beautiful fruit, perfect tannin structure, and with a seemingly endless aftertaste, a heavenly mouth indulgence........ currently 96 + DSP — 11 years ago

This is the DSP Montecito chard from Chris King's Santa Barbara project. Whole-cluster fermented and unfiltered. Beautifully aromatic with bright acidity. This could easily be from burgundy. — 9 years ago

Cupage: 50% Garnatxa Negre, 50% Carinena.
The color is deep cherry red with violet rim.
In the nose, ripe cherries and blackberries, small sound from alcohol, light toasted oak, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, mineral, as so often with wines from Priorat.
Taste: full, ripe cherries, fresh, creamy wood notes, which are nicely merged with fruits, and soft tyre taniennes, and with a medium finish and clear mineral notes.

Still nice dark Bordeauxred
Beautiful flowers bouquet with dark forest fruit, spices, black currants, cocoa, cigar box, pencil milling waste.
Also in the mouth that typical black Pauillac cassis fruit, fine tannins, and a medium aftertaste.
Not in the decanter but so out of the bottle, A little closed at first, but later in the glass comes this well, this wine is now fine mature, currently 92 DSP — 11 years ago
Here my findings: first 3 hours in the decanter parked, that he has to be necessary.
Still young for a St. Estephe Cru Bourgeois Exeptionel 2009 Royal nose with aromas of Red spicy berries, sweet dark berries, Plum, vanilla, coffee, flowers and a hint of oak.
Surprisingly accessible, yet still pretty in its tannins, but in a style I like.
Will continue to evolve over the next ten years.
