From the makers of the infamous Fat tug IPA another stellar beer. Lingering juicy hops is perfect summer IPA — 5 years ago
Very pleased, balanced. Good example of this blend. — 7 years ago
After a day trying to keep up with a 7 year old biking along the Elk River my wife and I decided to stop at the Bridge Bistro and have a sandwich and adult beverage. This IPA"Fat Tug" from Drift Wood Brewery in Victoria, BC. Is in my humble opinion the "Gold Standard" for BC IPAs. 🇨🇦🍻 — 8 years ago
Outstanding. Inky and concentrated. We had this one with beautiful steaks. This drinks very well at such a young age but would certainly evolve further. Soft char on driftwood leftover from a hot campfire. — 9 years ago
Juicy up front, spicy on the end — 5 years ago
Another great beer from driftwood brewery. A wonderful ESB that is refreshing — 5 years ago
Here’s the deal: I’m not actually looking for a ton of complexity in a beer. Gimme a *balanced* dosage of hops, a bright palate, maybe some citrus, a crisp and clean finish. Better still if it’s local. All this makes Driftwood a go-to ale in our house. 🍂🍺 — 7 years ago
Bought in Austin TX Oct 2017. Delicious!

A touch musty, with lemon and tangerine below. Lemon verbena, citrus pith pudding and dried limestone make this steely, coconut and charcoal dust sea wind take on interesting tastes. Like an ocean-soaked lime-in-brine over driftwood. Additional smells of lychee and ginkgo emerge with added depth and dried bamboo scents. The palate has sprouted green olive and caper notes. Still alive and staying there. #pouillyfuissé

Crisp, cool, super ripe bing cherries, red licorice and the savory burnt corner of the bread on the nose. Tastes like raspberry and red current jam between two slices of thin toasted driftwood. Friendly acidity and satiny tannins that stick around. Paired excellently with ribs. — 8 years ago
My favorite out of all of MV's wines. Like The Who's Quadrophenia, it's the perfect balance of world-class song writing and simple rock n roll. Ruby garnet with aromas of black licorice, black current, cherry cola, vanilla and toffee. Refined, feminine elegance dancing around in the smooth mouthfeel, while still being full bodied with a burly and masculine richness. An assortment of cherries are on the palate, along with plums, driftwood and caraway. Finishes with a little visit from the tannin, but not overwhelming, and a higher acidity than you would expect. — 8 years ago
Wow never had this before. Really incredible beer. A must have for anyone — 5 years ago
Easy drinking red — 5 years ago
Sae says macdonalds fry grease. Black pepper berries and driftwood. Deep dark. — 5 years ago
Big and brawny now but the flavor components are there. Dusty cherry with meaty red fruit not totally ripe yet. Smoke and driftwood ante present in the nose and mid palate as well. There is a hint of seashell on the finish. Excellent with food. — 7 years ago
Crystal Clear Sangio Brick color, watery rim, cherry & coffee on the nose, black tannins and dried strawberries on the palette, slight raspberry in the finish. Perfectly good food wine, as tannins need some bitter & fatty-sweet smokey BBQ Char to dance with. Drink now (2 yrs max). Good job Driftwood...(and I'm a Californian, sshhh) — 8 years ago
