Crisp, bright, refreshing and juicy. Delicate and balanced, subtlety dry. Pear and pineapple in the aroma and taste. Great with food or sipping. Delightful. — 5 years ago
Light and super flavorful. — 8 years ago
Tuoksua hallitsee päärynä ja sitrushedelmät. Maku on keskitäyteläinen ja hapokas, hieman petrolinen, mineraalinen ja kypsän sitruksinen. — 9 years ago
Solidly great wine on a warm afternoon. Would make a great pool sipper or almost a dessert wine. Medium sweet, light body. Crisp. — 9 years ago
I’m getting a real taste for these delicious aged rieslings. This is the second bottle of this vintage I’ve had, and man - it was rocking. It’s in such a perfect place right now. Ripe acidity balanced with the sweetness of honey, caramel apple, brûlée’d peach, kerosene and lilac flower. I’m making a mental note to buy more for the cellar. Despite the wait, these are too good to rob your future self of their pleasures. Yum. — 5 years ago
Erinomainen, puolikuiva Riesling. Hyvä hinta-laatu suhde. Sopii seurustelujuomaksi ja kala- tai kanaruoan kanssa nautittavaksi. — 5 years ago
Strong aroma of petrol, asphalt. Approaching dessert wine territory, awfully sweet and 7.5% ABV only! Hint of honey and stewed apricots, but not as much acidity as I might like for such a sweet wine. Tad off balance. — 6 years ago
Nose smells of pears and limes. Color is light golden yellow. Taste is citrus with oranges, limes, and grapefruit. Slightly apple crisp and slight hint of minerals. A pleasant dry finish. — 8 years ago
Golden with sweet ripe fruit nose and floral notes. On the palate sweet apricot and peach flavors, delicate with nice balance with acidity. Went great with a creme brûlée. — 8 years ago
Taking a look at TA for the '15 Champanel - opened this bottle of dry German Riesling to help with Potassium Carbonate calculations ;-) — 9 years ago

The Basic QbA Riesling from a good grower should always be a very good wine that also ages well. Case in point here. This 13-year old has another decade of aging potential. I believe the vineyard village here is Wehlen. The fruit is fresh and would be convincing as a feinherb, and the balanced structure is appropriately firm. — 5 years ago
