Reductive and rich, typical Roulot style but lacked a bit of the depth the Mersaults do and faded over time. Very good but lacked a little something. — 5 years ago
I haven't tried the 17 Roulot Blanc, but I have had the 17 Dancer Blanc. This is absolutely in the same conversation...better than the Dancer Blanc imo bc the oak influence is more constrained, and the mineral/dry extract is off the charts. This doesn't have the noble reduction I expect from Roulot (or other vintages of Dancer BB for that matter), but it has an amazing purity about itself. Absolutely lovely. — 6 years ago

Solid, steely, pure mineral rock and tension! What a show! — 9 years ago
Alexa's birth year. 29 year old Chardonnay - incredibly intense acid, oxidized notes of almond and focused aromatics. — 11 years ago
Night of the kick ass Bourgogne rouge! Drinking great and really good. Powerful. Classy. Roulot + 2005 + Bourgogne rouge = makes sense. Me likes. Me likes a lot. — 12 years ago
Made with assistance of Jean-Marc Roulot. Picking up some nuance and intrigue since last bottle. — 3 years ago
Poured from Coravin. Classic meursault flavors of baked apple and hazelnuts. Great acidity. Drank alongside an 09 roulot Bourgogne blanc. This was richer and rounder. Terrific pairing with lobster — 6 years ago
Black cherries, underripe strawberries, raspberry meringue, hazelnuts, biscotti, pistachios, toast, turmeric, mint, clove. Racy fresh acidity, juicy-satin texture, light bodied, smooth velvet tannins, long fruity-savory- smoky finish. Secondary notes shine, perfectly balanced, highly evolves in glass. A master at his craft. — 9 years ago
Classic bottle enjoyed in France. Balanced fruit acid and minerals...a subtle blend of flavored-had a slight Botrytis. — 11 years ago
Typical laser-focused Roulot! — 3 years ago
Rich/intense/concentrated, showing oak interaction right now, I can see why people still gravitate towards Lafon, but as I've mentioned before Roulot has far surpassed these wines now. — 9 years ago
Quite typical of '09, has richness, showing a nice amount of oak, but there's a great balance, I really think Roulot has surpassed these wines now though, as Roulot continues to improve year on year, I get the impression these have stayed quite constant, but at least you know what your getting when you open them. — 10 years ago
Tasty but love white roulot ;). — 10 years ago

Part of Roulot + Roumier tasting. More typical in style than the 2019, the fruit-forward hedonism is toned down. Angular and precise. Super mineral finish. Needs time…glad I have a few bottles stashed away — 2 years ago
