Beautiful. Really balanced and fine. — 5 years ago
This baby continues to grow up but I think like every parent I have to say good bye as children do grow up - I will miss the older beauties from Cain - I just think they are better older
Still love the color - deep purple / no transparency at all with edges / smell is demonstrating maturity which has me worried ( just a little) / the wine is chewy dense full bodied after 18 years in a bottle / omg this is good / taste is not full bodied at all but finesse and delicate - with the most enjoyable finish - I love the integration of the franc and Merlot with cab in this vintage - always have - just a Tuesday night but why not enjoy a bottle with charisma and character that says good to see you old friend - smiling — 5 years ago
2015. Light red colour. Light spice and smoke, caramelised bbq, slight red fruit first nose. Whole green peppercorn and jamon second nose. Light in the mouth. Tannic spicy but not astringent. Cold and clean in the finish. — 6 years ago

Vintage 2015 tasting with the WNH and Anne herself - she is an amazing person and one brilliant winemaker - she did this tasting from her heart and if you ever want to a wine rockstar that is humble refined and caring about the craft she is definitely the ticket
From her and I quote “A faint toast, part of a modest width of aroma. Also fine texture, less overt volume, but more line and a lovely mid-palate flavour – redder fruited – fine small waves of fine finishing flavour – simply lovely!”
I will add such structure and balance and it is just a baby - give this wine 5-10 years and it will be off the charts — 4 years ago
— 5 years ago

Soft and elegant with smooth tannins. Dried black fruit, licorice, leather and mild smokiness. — 6 years ago
Reminds me of the first time I was touched by an Angel. Strangers call my uncle Angelino. But anyways, this Comartin was super Sauvignon Blancy without being too super New Zealandy. Marlboroughriffic in style, only without a screwcap, from Arroyo Seco and more approachable for every day beach/pool/patio/parent-teacher meeting settings. — 7 years ago
on first glug pretty lovely. ripe black cherries, tea on the nose. smoothed out tannins. this will def get us through online parent/teacher meetings! — 4 years ago

First time trying a Burgandy Pinot. It was more savory than the Oregon Pinot I’m used to. Overall it was excellent. — 5 years ago

This was a recommendation of the same sommelier at Michael Mina's based on Jennifer's description of the last wine. She liked this much better! She rated it a 9.5. — 7 years ago
