1976 - this is a monster wine. Dark inky color w/ some secondary funk on the nose. Would have liked it a touch sweeter but still very nice with no real dryness that we see from many of the 76’s - very nice wine! — 6 years ago

Color is a bit pale, almost looks like aging wine, but the taste proves the opposite—extremely light, open, drinkable bottle. Lots of oak, cherry and tobacco. Tannic, but in a pleasant way. I wouldn't like this wine on any other day, but tonight it turned out to be the perfect choice for lighter Burgundy. — 9 years ago
