Deep golden hue. Apple & pear with a hint of mango maybe?Well its got a very nice white grape taste too. Soft on the palette. All in all a very nice, nice light to medium-bodied wine that can be drunk fine on its own — 4 years ago
Notes from 3 hrs open. Lovely oxidative style, but good freshness to complement. On the nose: honey, marzipan, lemon oil, a shimmer of copper. On the palate, lovely mousse, fantastic acidity, very focused on the palate, with floral honey and lemon. Very clean finish. — 6 years ago
Had this glass of champagne to start a fun dinner with Mom ;) Classic. Both of us were thirsty after a little walk - we made a good decision! — 7 years ago
Oak and fruity aroma. Concentrated. Berry, violet and plum. Good match with BBQ chicken with Japanese source. 2020 @3000, domaine - BBQC, 230701-230704 — 2 years ago
Will need a couple of years, but great potential! — 4 years ago
Nice bang for the buck, a bunch of red fruit and the right amount of orange wine sour (don’t hate the description- it’s refreshing). Love the producer, can’t go wrong with this Grand Cru. — 5 years ago
Yeasty bread dough, roasted pineapple, quince and red apples. Slight chalkiness. Cooked lemon and pomelo skin, very high acidity. — 7 years ago
Patrick Arnould passed over 2009 & 2010, but decided to make this 2011- a strange decision on paper. This all old-vine Pinot blanc de noir has it where it counts- in the bottle. Only 60 bottles for the USA, now 59. This seems lighter than past vintages, but still has that Nutella like hazelnut character that screams Verzenay. I will wait a year or two to have my next bottle for sure... But this long wine sure did go down easy last night! — 8 years ago
