Smells smoky dark fruit. Not tart cherry. Ripe blueberry and chocolate. Very smooth and dry. Not spicy. Not tobacco. Not musty. Not earthy. Not sweet. I know what it's not. But not able to think of what it is. Very drinkable. I wonder how it will taste tomorrow. Medium body so should be good next day too. Some floral to it too. I enjoy it. Holy heck I paid less than nothing (i.e. around ten) and this overdelivers...if you like licorice and/or anise. I'm a nut for those so...also you get medium plus acid medium minus tannins and all the perfectly-ripe-yet-still-firm berries you could wish for. Even on night two of sipping.
