Petrol and earth, spice and earth more prominent than fruit on nose. Good tannin and high acid, would shine with fatty meat. Not at all Californian but in a good way (to me). — 5 years ago
Smooth and delicious. Still tons of legs. — 6 years ago
Excellent alternative to Sauternes to go with our foie gras — 7 years ago
— 7 years ago
Just OK. Drank at Le Pavillon in NYC on recommendation of somm as a less funky alternative to Jean Foillard. That didn’t really translate for me. — 3 years ago
A nice white burgundy and great value for the price. Somewhat between Chablis and Puligny stylistically, in a nice way. — 4 years ago
Good cabernet! — 5 years ago
From start to finish just a great tasting wine, fruit in the beginning pepper at the end, I would buy a case now if I could. — 6 years ago
Just drank a châteauneuf du Pape without knowing. What a beautiful surprise. One of the top 5 wine of my life. Balanced, medium bodied and very tasteful. Incredible! — 7 years ago

Smoking good. From a PN / Chard IGP just south of Pouilly-Fumé, about 175 km west of Beaune, on a limestone / clay plateau above the Loire. Super sappy, layered and textured. Intense, red fruited, silky and detailed. Finishes long. Amazing, really, for what it is. — 5 years ago
Oh mygosh on a scale of one to pastille heaven I might rate this as an eight point nine plus, a few bonus unofficial point stops in a swamp of bramble and raspberry bush. A ripe swamp.,Love it. It could be I am a gamay nut but I dug this heartily. If I were eating steak? Oh no. Not even with a soy sauce-braised tempeh extravaganza. But for sipping, with a pal, with-let me recommend---a nice soft pretzel (welcome to my heavenly LA life) and YAS. That's the stuff — 7 years ago
Light ruby color with some purple and brown mixed tone. Just a tiny hazy and essentially clear. Nose of sour cherries, berries like raspberries, and a bit cedar. Taste of refreshing acidic raspberry, sour cherries , spice like sage/clove, cola, and some roasted peppers note. Light but balanced. Aftertaste is a bit weak, dominated by the spice note, roasted pepper, a bit cola, and hickory note. Quite an interesting Bordeaux. — 7 years ago

Beautifully balanced wine. Just a hint of fruit, nice earthiness, and mouthwatering acidity. — a year ago
