Gorgeous floral aromas of rose and violet, matched by blackberry, cassis, sweet spice, cedar, cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla, and hints of red plum and cherry. On the palate, full bodied with grippy tannins but a nice smooth mouthfeel, hints of mineral and crushed rock. Pleasing to sip for an experienced wine drinker, pair with red meat and heartier dishes if less exposed to fuller reds. Will develop at least 10 years

Really enjoyed this Medoc. @Ron R told me once I should drink more French wine. So I listened. At 10 years of age, it seemed reasonable to open.

2011. Minerals and some acidity. Great nose, lacks finish and balance. But it’s ok

Drinking really well currently. Probably around sits best now I’d suggest. Recommended

A dry medium to full bodied wine. Dried cherries. Some earth and leather. This needs to age to really show!
