Red fruits, well balanced, just a hint of spice and forest. Excited to see where this goes from here — a year ago
Guessed this as a 2018 white burg. A successful blind by all accounts! Ripe, lush Chardy fruit (even a touch of pineapples) and excellent quality oak, all wrapped in a lively, saline package. Deceptively light at the start, but air does bring out quite a bit of texture and power. For me, certainly a wine of its soil (white clay on limestone) and vintage, once revealed. Delicious, although I did find it a tad heavy at the end of the night. — 2 years ago

Delicious! It’s the 2017 Domaine de Villaine Rully 1er Cru ‘Les Margotés.’
This wine has a beautiful medium lemon (trending gold) hue and offers medium(+) intensity of aromas and flavors including ripe star fruit, melon, honeydew, white nectarine, just ripe mango, yellow apple, pear, and quince, next to gardenia, white blossom, fennel, chalk, and cream.
It paired wonderfully with the grilled halibut topped with basil, garlic, lemon butter. — a year ago

Very delicious Pinot, but was expecting a little more complexity. Wonderful pairing with salmon. — 3 years ago

Yes, I picked this and yes, it is what I expected. New worldy but enough driving acid to finish strong. — 19 days ago
