Berry cherry smoke notes in mouth (later morphing almost into cola) with some tongue coating astringency in finish. Strawberry and blackberry aftertaste. 2007 vintage. Vieilles Vignes. Medium brick garnet hue. Herbal, white flower, white pepper, earthy and forest floor. Very attractive nose. On the palate, great balance of fruit and tannins - tight grain. Herbal character to the fore, black currant and slight mint. Good length.
