Rubis clair. Un nez de framboise et autres fruits compotés. Une bouche ronde, légèrement compotée, épicée et agréable. Simple, épicée. — 13 days ago

La Vieille Ferme (Perrin & Fils)

La Ferme Julien Côtes du Luberon Rosé Blend 2023

This wine has a soft, light, onion skin pink hue. The nose is fresh and fruity. There is a bushel basket of strawberries in the aroma package, along with citrus minerality and that wonderful smell of rain on a hot sidewalk. The palate is dominated by the acidity, which is quite lively. Ripe red fruit is there, of course, as is a healthy dose of lemon and tangerine. The wine finishes long and the acidity keeps on working after the sip. — 3 months ago

La Ferme du Mont

Jugunda Gigondas Red Rhone Blend 2021

Robe dense. — 17 days ago

La Ferme du Mont

Côtes Capelan Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2010

Super funky even after 2 hour decant. Really needed air. Had some Northern Rhône Syrah dominance in it. Wildness to it. Really interesting and not typical CdP — 2 months ago

Roses de Jeanne La Haute Lemblé Brut Blanc de Blancs Champagne Chardonnay 2018

For the price, I expected a lot more. So did the rest on the table. Probably too young as it did improve with air, but I’ve had youthful (and cheaper) Champagne’s that performed far better than this. Started off with heaps of pears, bruised apples, and almonds on the nose. The palate was concentrated, juicy and almost too fruity for me (apples and apricot for days!). Air brought about more cut and chalkiness, as well as some floral notes. In short, I expected more depth. I suspect I’m just not a fan of the vintage. Time will tell. — 5 months ago
