Open in bottle for 10 hours. Rustic tobacco and leather over dried cranberry and cherry. 75% whole cluster shows. Vanilla and clove from 50% new French. Palate is balanced and deep rounding into this sweet midpalate cherry fruit. Tremendous length. Minerality lingers and is accented by elevated black pepper aromas. Still primary with pretty red transitioning to dark fruit. Lots of life in here and plenty of opportunity to evolve. — 3 years ago
