Amazing flax color that seems almost viscious. Wonderful complexity of secondary flavors of Carmelized fruit including pear and quince with walnuts and a touch of sweetness. What a treat because today I was at the Domaine peering down on this steep Clos.

Loved this, a very unique wine in that NSG whites are not the most common of wines. 2001 vintage shows mature notes, though not very familiar with what to expect it was really fun to smell and taste, but that nose, I could smell that all day long! Round on the palate with a push of acidity on the finish, clean, lush and long.

Light, rounded nose. Melon, fresh lemon. Oily bright minerality. Reminds me of white bordeaux. Really interesting. Almost Loire like on the end. Fascinating
