So drinkable with strong notes of rose! — 3 years ago
Crackers, brioche with jam on nose. Nice lively body with some tartness and decent concentration. Super long leesy finish. clam broth and salt. — 4 years ago
#vinitaly2019 — 5 years ago
A deep, full, but eminently drinkable orange Malvasia, a prime example of how rich and complex these can be. Grilled peach, persimmon, blanched almond, and a long finish that leaves you salivating for another sip. Bright acidity, but not too much, nor is it particularly funky. Love love love. — 6 years ago

Ruby color with a light bouquet of dark fruit, spices, herbs and floral notes, blended from 3 vineyards. On the palate flavors of black cherry, currants and raspberry with notes of licorice, cola, floral and herbs. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with fruit and earthy notes. Just starting to drink now! Will continue to age. — 9 months ago

The 2019 Barolo Le Coste di Monforte is a gorgeous, exotic, intriguing wine. Dried flowers, mint, lavender, spice, tobacco and incense are all beautifully delineated. Ample and vibrant, with tons of depth, the 2019 is absolutely compelling today. The 2019 offers tons of Le Coste power, and a good deal of finesse as well. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, December 2023)
