II’ve loved all the Sandhi 2012 range of whites & this £65 S&B is superb 👍 Paired with enough curry to get a small village going regular for a week 🤣 💨 sorry I didn’t take pics of that feast 😁

🍷 Golden yellow
👃 Chopped pineapple, crushed rock mineral, lemon oil, key lime pie, honey gloop & white jasmine flowers w/ light oak, vanilla & apple
👄 Med+ body of creamy refreshing clean tropical & citrus yummyness without being overly syrupy & a hit of green apple, pineapple, honey & minerality in med acidity
🎯 Med+ fresh apple, citrus & tropical trickle w/ a dry mineral honeyed pineapple slapette — 6 years ago
Dense on nose (showing some maturity?). Yellow aromas all through: apple, grapefruit, curry and some grassiness, some lactose. Kind of viscose, powerful on palate with some alcohol burn on finish, but is paired with a high acidity that balances it quite nicely. A bit of nice grapefruit-bitterness in structure. Needs a good food pairing to bring down the alcohol somewhat. — 6 years ago
Super interesting white/orange blend. Nose is full of rose and other dried florals, orange blossom, jasmine tea and green unripe nectarine, with the fruit showing better on day 2. Due to 15 days of skin contact, palate is slightly tannic and as a result comes across strongly like a lemony black sun tea, with juicy acidity that lacks an edge. Round, somewhat drying finish. Tough pairing with an Asian salad day 1 and a veggie curry day 2 - this needs something like a simple fish preparation. — 7 years ago
2008. Plummy and meaty with a little remaining tannin. Paired well with leftover lamb curry. — 4 years ago
Refreshing sweet Riesling, with a good balance between sweetness at the beginning and acidity at the end. Great with Indian curry. — 5 years ago
A quality wine. Not too sweet but perfect with a curry — 6 years ago
Lots of melon, hints of honey. Excellent acidity. Much better on day two. — 6 years ago
Light floral nose. Faint curry spices. Probably great with a fish stew — 8 years ago
Wanna pair with night market’s curry recipe — 4 years ago
The few years of bottle age brought out a little more complexity which only expanded after decanting. This paired perfectly with spicy coconut crab curry. — 5 years ago
Jaune prononcé dû à l élevage long
A lot of boxes ticked with a Thai chicken green curry tonight. Spot on! — 7 years ago
Nicely balanced. Not too sweet. Paired with Indian curry — 8 years ago
Firstly the nose is driven by strong Sherry notes. Gets better & more harmonious with air. The Sherry turns into curry plant, fennel blended with hints of apricot & yellow stone fruit. Like a laser beam on the palate, very salty, vibrating and grasping. Long finish. — 8 years ago

Nicely blended with some ripe black fruit. Leather, vanilla, chocolate, oak. Nice structure for a big ripe fruit cab. — 4 years ago
