sealed with a Diam 30, no sulfur or matchstick noticed, lean Meursault with citrus that filled out after a bit of air but just didn’t hit all cylinders. A cheap 2014 Chanzy Meursault Narvaux the prior night blew this away. Maybe it’s a vintage thing. — 4 years ago

Nose is lemon curd, green apple, sea shells, and old, funky oak.

Lots of zippy lemony and green apple acidity on the palate. A bit of underripe tropical fruit as well as great minerality. The wood notes are subtle and hint at vanilla with some lingering oak on the finish.

A leaner, very refined expression of white Burgundy. A bit Chablis like, but with more oak richness...great stuff either way and for a great price. — 6 years ago
