2012 saturated, blu/purple, room-filling, earthy spice and fruit aromas. Nearly perfect with classic dolcetto fruit. — 7 years ago
Serious. One for the cellar. Dark dark Dolcetto color from very old vines. Licorice notes, soft entry, supporting acids, firm tannin. Seamless. Politely demands your attention. Rewards it. — 8 years ago
An amazing expression of Dolcetto d'Alba. Beppe and Simonetta are the owner of this wonderful Estate located in Dogliani. Unfiltered. It has a bright and intense ruby red color. Incredible bouquet of red fruits such as blackberry, strawberry, but also hints of wild violet and red rose! Is very juicy and drinkable, on the palate is like to bite a bunch of ripe Dolcetto grapes. It's perfect to pair with light meat dishes or as a light but refreshing aperitivo with salami and charcuterie. Very recommended 👍 — 8 years ago

I’d be more than happy to purchase this one again. — 4 years ago
What a freak show of a nose. Gorgeous spice and berry. Super high toned. Grapey and confectionary with a big aromatic spectrum. Big earthiness as well .Palate is gorgeous, sleek and ripe with terrific cutting Dolcetto tannins and dynamic freshness. Terrific grip and concentration. Ripe and juicy tannins that suggest 5-7 more years ahead of this. Terrific wine. — 4 years ago
Solid Dolcetto, centered on the fruit. Lots of blueberries. Precise tannins. Kudos. — 7 years ago
Nose made me go "oooo". Meaty. — 7 years ago
A gigantic wine. The nose and the tongue are divorced, if they integrated better this wine would be rated higher. The alcohol is the fist thing that hits you. It's breathless and blunt. But let it settle and it's quite lovely. Pomegranate and cranberry are bright and beautiful. The acidity zings. In the mouth this is all Dogliani. — 8 years ago
Discontinued, but glad World Wide Wine in DC still stocked. Tannic. Easy to drink while making orecchiette with sausage and broccoli rabe and also paired with same. — 9 years ago
Cinnamon -plum with sweet smoke, black cherry smelling very ripe! Medium mouth, underripe black cherry with a gritty earth taste minus any texture. Pointed finish with a dusty point like a twisted cigarette full of cigar tobacco. Graphite. #Dolcetto #piedmontwines #Italianjuice — 9 years ago
