Heavenly Chardonnay by Greg Brewer. Love this! So clean pure. — 10 years ago
Holding together really well. Fairly crisp and easy going. I love me some Sta. Rita Hills wine! — 11 years ago
I can never tell if I like these wines or not....muted nose with nice acid and pear mineral pallet — 13 years ago
Deep yellow in color with a golden hue.
Strong nose of ripe apples and oak notes.
Full-bodied and elegant with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with pears, apples, peaches, citrus, oak, light honey, vanilla, Indian spices, sea salt, light earth and herbs.
Long finish with white pepper and spices.
This 4 year old Chardonnay from Santa Barbara County is drinking beautifully. Rich and extracted. Fruit forward, elegant and complex. Spicy with a nice mouthfeel.
Wine Spectator 93 points. Robert Parker 98 points.
Definitely not your typical California Chardonnay, but rather more in the style of a white Sin Qua Non.
Delicious by itself as a sipping wine, or with food.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

One of the best chards I’ve tasted and I’m a Pinot fan of Brewer Clifton. I am going back for more. — 6 years ago
The cork right after opening smelled like honey, green apples, and pineapple. The nose smelled of yeast and fermented pineapple immediately after opening, but now with some time more honey and less yeast with an almost marzipan-esque smell. The palate transfers through from the cork with riper pineapple, honey and a sweeter apple. The finish is a bit of dried apricot. Acidity rushes down the sides of the tongue. This is nice with my panko crusted chicken and roasted carrots. — 6 years ago
Have been somewhat disappointed with the HB chards recently (with the exception of the Venus wines - which are fantastic) - but this 2013 is drinking quite well. Honeysuckle on the nose with hints of lemon and vanilla, this medium-bodied wine has a nice (but not particularly deep) mid-palate, reasonable acidity, and a balanced, lingering finish. Doesn't quite compare to an Aubert or Diatom (two totally different animals, I know: I'm talking about the level of complexity), but this is still a very enjoyable wine. — 9 years ago
Reduced so much, opened hours later to great uniqueness — 11 years ago
Greg Brewer’s Diatom label is an utter unique expression of chardonnay and is the best QPR you’ll find. This one - like many of these - will improve with a couple of more years in bottle due to the (relatively) high acidity. Super cool wine - like a Premier Cru Chablis on steroids. — 6 years ago

安定の美夜。柚子と白ミルガイのパスタにピタリ! — 8 years ago
Greg Brewer and Diatom are back with a vengence with the 2013 Santa Rita Hills chardonnay. After a pause, shall we say, in 2012, this new vintage has that crisp acidity and incredible balance that makes this wine unique. Easily has a decade of development ahead of it, it's remarkable what Greg can do with this stuff. Fantastic. — 10 years ago

This Chardonnay is a funky one. If you want acidity and minerality in your white, this should be your pick. Definitely a wine geek pick. — 11 years ago
