😇 I looked up to the sky & the Purple Angel came down upon me filling my glass with light blocking purple ruby rain that oozed aromas of black & blue berries w/ thick chocolate, vanilla, dates, heavenly minerals & smokey oak - “drink this godly juice” she said in a booming voice🍷
I dared embrace the heavenly nectar & succumbed to a full on palate explosion of ripe dark concentrated blackcurrant/berry bathed in raspberry cocoa and minerals💥
My mouth was left open in awe as my purple stained teeth yielded to the long silky fruit loaded intense finish & I myself turned into a naughty purple devil - spank me angel, spank me 😈
🎵 “And through it all she offers me protection l, A lot of love and affection” you’re gonna be singing this all day now 🤣 “And down the waterfall wherever it may take me .. “

Decent pinot grigio! $8-ish at Wegman's — 10 years ago
Bold up front. Disappears on the back end. Heavier beef stock type flavor to it. Not too fruity. We enjoyed this one and it was easy to drink. -2018 vintage — 5 years ago
Great dark berry fruit, rich and substantial but good balance, this 2016 is drinking well now. Subtle earthiness makes this very interesting. — 5 years ago
Love! Another Coronavirus pick from Campus Fine Wines. Drank with pulled pork & an Asian-ish slaw of carrots & watermelon radishes. Drinking the rest with foraged watercress and garlic pasta . — 6 years ago
This was my last bottle of the 2005. My previous bottle was enjoyed over four years ago and in that time, quite a bit of secondary characteristics have entered into the picture. Popped and poured; consumed over three hours. Visually, it remains much the same. On the nose it's olives, leather, dark fruit and earth...in that order. On the palate, there is a mix of dark and red fruits with some earth but it's a bit hollow in the middle and there seems to be something missing in the finish. It's not clipped...it's not short...it's just kinda...meh. All of that being said, it remains a wine of obvious quality. I suspect the young-ish nature of the vineyard probably means the best was in this bottle's youth. Still good but drink now if you have them. — 8 years ago

This wine is different, and I like it! Nice change of pace. Very different aroma. Raspberry, almost sweet but mostly earth, mineral and stone. The spice is dominant up front and lingers with firm tannins. Mild to medium acidity. The devil insignia is cool. — 5 years ago
