Pop that screw top, drop it in a decanter, turbo twirl, let set x10 minutes, then go for it - classic Gamay from Beaujolais with fertile earth showing smokey red and black fruit with light effervescence lightly coating all the taste receptors then twisting, turning, clinging before it slips down one's throat thereafter hanging front, sides, and back begging for another swig and associated mind quest to more finely define its groovy self😎 Loving this juice with some olives, almonds Ossau Iratty and Pico..🍷 Do this wine (great with Thanksgiving turkey) and only 12% alcohol; so do it at least x2😎 — 10 years ago

Earthy and anise nose. Medium-plus body, bright plum fruit with nice mineral density and savory tones and herbs. Smooth tannins build, with long glycerine-like finish. A kind of dry orange peel flavor (probably a better description, just can't define) that was nice. Very smooth and complex. — 9 years ago

This estate continued to turn out top notch wines that's are truly world-class. Vibrant pale yellow. Aromas of quince, crushed rocks, pear and a single citrus tone define the nose. On entry to the palate the wine is sweeter than expected, but this is likely a vintage condition, as sec can vary year by year. Delicious with cheese and a pretty good match to while wheat lasagne stuffed with ricotta, spinach and mushrooms in a red sauce. I pulled it and popped the cork anticipating chicken pot pie... — 10 years ago
When one has the budget to splurge on a wine like this (all depends on how you define splurge) this is an absolute beauty. Tart fruits - crisp pear and apple - integrated with herbal flavors are a treat. Hard to describe all that's going on here, but the bottom line is this a fabulous wine. — 11 years ago

This Ferrari-Carano mix of Sangiovese, Malbec, Petite Sirah and Cabernet Sauvignon has a medium-dark hue and a nose of red plums, blueberries and sweet oak spice. Stony minerals define the mid-palate. The wine is light in the mouth, with easy tannins. Red berries, cherries and a touch of cola appear on the palate, and it finishes bright and festive with spices - cinnamon and anise - lingering. — 10 years ago
