AMAZING! This is well above my price range, but was a wise choice for a splurge bottle. Deep structure, blackberry, vanilla and leather. This is a super-premium cab and worth the C note... — 5 years ago
Deep ruby red. A little savory on the nose with tons of red and black cherries as well as a little baking spices. Heavy mountain tannins (8/10) and full bodied. Great layers on the palate with bramble berries, black cherries, and a bit woody. Balanced acidity and intense structure. Nice texture with a bit of gravel in the long finish. Drink till 2042. — 9 years ago

2009 Ch d'Yquem. These are just stunning wines. Turning sauv bl and semm (botrytised albeit) into these jewels is something to marvel at. '09 has an interesting nose of still some sauv bl grapefruit but then caramel and deep trop fruits. 4.2 acid. — 11 years ago

Dark fruits and well balanced tannins highlight this excellent wine. More in the medium to full body Pinot noir‘s which I prefer — 4 years ago
Classic Bordeaux style blend from several estate vineyards. Aged for 19 months in French Oak. Deep Ruby with purple edges, aromas of fresh berry fruits with cedar and spice. On the palate sweet cherry, blackberry and blueberry fruit, with savory oak & cacao notes. Tannins were smooth but tight, with an earthy herb touch on the long finish. Faust wines do not disappoint, even when young. Nice! A Fav! Great Value! — 5 years ago
Deep currents in the nose with a beautiful round smooth mouth full of flower petals light citrus and berries. — 6 years ago
Deep and dark red the color of a mature wine, aroma of dark fruit and dark chocolate, full bodied and smooth. It’s quite an enjoyable wine. For $85 in Suvarnbhumi airport it’s well worth the money. — 7 years ago
Very full bodied/deep in color/richer than expected. Easy to drink but has more depth than a typical Pinot Noir. — 8 years ago
Silky smooth with deep tones that kept resonating wonderfulness — 11 years ago

Not very often do I post European wines. I do drink them from time to time but so much to explore in California! 1999 “Unico” brought by master sommelier Jay Fletchers to Cache Cache in Aspen. Richness and restraint with a deep almost coffee-like intensity. — 10 months ago
