Crisp & fruity with ultra fine, tiny bubbles. Love the purity. — 10 years ago
Big typo on the label. They spelled Malbec z-I-n-f-a-n-d-E-l. Bet someone got fired over that one. — 10 years ago
Delicious. Super concentrated dark fruit even after 13 years. This wine will see age 20 in fine form. Great co n plexity on the fi b is with menthol notes and cedar. Yum. Wish I had more. — 11 years ago

Great Georgian toast is to your neighbor - he is the most important, especially if you moved into new place.
Here are neighbors from one river banks, but different countries. Sogevinus Fine Wines & Bodegas Emilio Moro - made this opulent, rich and silky wine. Elegant fruit, wrapped into noble oak, great wine -with each sip I can contemplate about toasts wisdom - vostok delo tonkoe.
Maybe missing a bit of length, but I forgive them, the balance is perfect. Don't expect claws, this is tuxedo dress code. — 12 years ago

Vintage 2008 / Confession: I am really bad in recognising #tempranillo. So I ‘punish’ myself regularly to taste and drink it 🤨 Today it makes me really happy. A nice roof tiles colour, a smell with spices, warm cooked summerfruit, but above all: E L E G A N C E. Beautiful mouthfeel, satin, smooth. A wine you can easily underestimate, with finesse. Probably I would not recognise it as #rioja tasted blind, it is such a fine wine. Great effort of this Spanish winegrower. / technical: 85% tempranillo 10% graciano and 5% maturana. 30 months aging in French oak barrels. — 8 years ago

Phenomenal NZ Bordeaux style blend. Good French profile but unmistakeable kiwi chacteristics.
N-fine leather, overripe dark forest fruits, trace of forest floor
P-blueberry, red currant, plum, gives way to chocolate. Exceptionally smooth tannins. Very subtle well integrated oak. Good structure from Cab S.
F-long and rich.
Acid still a little high at back - drink dates probably 2019-23 for optimum. Would serve now though.
Mid autumn - winter wine — 9 years ago
Wow! So much in the glass here. Bright and vibrant. But if depth n complexity to the red fruit with fine spice. Rosso at its best. 92, but more enjoyable than that. — 10 years ago
Elegant n fine champs but not the richness nor complexity I seek. Little mineral, little earth. Maybe hint o unripe apples. Maybe better w even more cellar time. Or not. — 11 years ago
Bubbly Grenache wine is nice n dry. Lively acidity, fine bubbles. Tastes of strawberries, raspberries, toast, & yeast from aging 12 mo. In its bottle. Cannot say no given the price ($14). I've purchased at least 8 times. — 12 years ago
Easy drinking Italian red wine — 13 years ago
Classic Pinot noir pale to medium ruby with a gorgeous nose of rose, violet, smoke d meat, forest floor, raspberry and toast. Medium body, medium plus alcohol, mefium minus tannins, very fine. Beautifully balanced, with a very long finish showing wet stone, raspberry, toast, violet and first floor. Absolutely lovely and classic — 7 years ago
Fine champs! Fruity n very nice minerality. Acidic z very well integrated. — 8 years ago

Made my wife's favorite dinner for our anniversary and opened up this treasure to accompany. Beginning to mature and drinking great currently. Nose is impeccably balanced with dark berry fruit and earthy tones. The palate opens up to blackberry, cherry, spice and a touch of smoke. Fine tannins lead the lingering finish that sticks around forever. Dinner was homemade fettuccini with fresh tomato sauce with garlic, capers and white wine along side grilled Italian sausage from our local butcher. — 9 years ago

Mighty young, mighty fine. Le maison d' Sam. Tannins aplenty. — 10 years ago
Bottle was a day old after opening. Rich, got some maturity w wet leaves n earth, but fine n a little bread. — 11 years ago
This is the 'Cuvée du Roi' 2012 and is clearly a Bourgogne from the Cotes-du-Nuits. This is rich and silky with great depth and structure that has some lovely acidity and fine tannins that drinks well above its level. Could easily be a good C-D-N villages. — 11 years ago
2012 - big peppery nose, red fruit, jalapeño, bell pepper aromas. Medium weight palate with a ton of structure - big framing acids and fine tannin. This should age well. Pop n pour at winery. — 11 years ago
VERY NICE Chardonnay! Double gold at the SF Chronicle Wine Competition. Not too acidic, not too much oak, darn fine wine. — 12 years ago
