Chewy modern style. Great wine — 12 years ago
Very tannic and acidic even after a couple of hours of decanting. It needs several hours (about eight) in the decanter to calm down and open up. Earthy and smokey. Dried dark cherries, pomegranate, tar, cedar, leather, and spices. Powerful and dense. — 5 years ago
Smooth red wine- great for a winter night — 7 years ago
Very light color almost like a rose. Spectacular aromas of blackberries, Kirsch, lemon zest. Tea leaves on the back palate. Very unique none of the leather one usually gets in Barolo's. — 10 years ago
