Red deep fruit colour. Very nice nose of cherry and spices, pepper. In the mouth it is both crunchy and of a beautiful intensity, which will express all the better as the bottle will have been aerated for at least a good hour. An elegant bourguignon beaujolais, with a gastronomic profile that is still a little young. Clearly tailored for long guard. — 3 years ago

Light red and clear and clean. Nose has some muted floral and herbaceous notes but not much else. Light bodied , medium + acidity. Pretty much non distinct. This bottle was left over from Turkey dinner. Should have drank it then, perhaps.

Interesting wine, 13 grapes, natural without being annoying. Opens up nicely. Not overly heavy, nice balance. Fresh with good acid. Good suggestion from the fine folks at Joe Beef in Montreal, and a good pairing with the very rich food here. — 7 months ago

Never would have guessed a Bourgogne if tasted blind. Complex weighty nose of ripe red fruits and earthy notes and autumn leaves though palate a bit more acidic than expected. That profile carried through to finish. 16 years and still drinking well. Great with Amahs ribs — 5 years ago
