The 2020 Sancerre Les Chasseignes is a ripe and round expression with sweet pineapple fruit flavors. The limestone proportion of the clay-limestone vineyard brings tension and texture that lightly holds the mouth, providing a satisfying finish. Light red and clear and clean. Nose has some muted floral and herbaceous notes but not much else. Light bodied , medium + acidity. Pretty much non distinct. This bottle was left over from Turkey dinner. Should have drank it then, perhaps.
