Another star in Rosenthal book but I’m a bit puzzled by the muted enthusiasm on Delectable. Sure, not the last word on complexity but what glory in classic chard & Macon notes. Rich & minerally mouthfeel, balanced. Yeah, for less than 15$ local. So what’s the problem? — 7 years ago

Approachable now with red fruit aromas, cranberry, cherry; modest structure and acidity. Clean medium long finish. Good quality and drinks above its level. — 4 years ago

Lemon, green apple, grapefruit, hint of tropical fruit, tons of minerality and acidity. Fresh, tart, memorable. — 7 years ago

The 2020 Sancerre Les Chasseignes is a ripe and round expression with sweet pineapple fruit flavors. The limestone proportion of the clay-limestone vineyard brings tension and texture that lightly holds the mouth, providing a satisfying finish. It's a gently refreshing acidity, leaving a gently fresh rather than zesty conclusion. For drinking now to the medium term. (Rebecca Gibb MW, Vinous, August 2022)

Very deep cherry red. Aroma has complexity including leather, animal, oak, spices like clove, nutmeg, anise. Concentration. tannin. First time to taste matured Grolleau. Anne Claude Leflaive Clau de Nell Anjou Grolleau 18 @5049, Umem, 250629-250710 — 6 months ago
