The remains of the day.. paired with a buffalo chicken grilled cheese sandwich. Not a good match obviously for the understated flavor style of the wine. There’s definitely sexier more vivacious champagne you can be drinking for far less money. Would like to taste again under different circumstances with some more age on it. Inky and leggy. Deep dark currents, blackberries, hint of oak. There’s a sensation of bursting - the sensation of rich ripe fruit. The dust of tannin doesn’t overwhelm nor does the floral create a feminine flounce of near silliness. Celebratory without solemnity. Saxophone. Snare drum. A single alto female- singing I’ll Fly Away - Etta James- not a bluegrass version-this is heavier stuff. Why yes- another glass.... cheese? Dark chocolate? Yes! — 7 years ago

Good, easy to drink with cheese, quite strong — 9 years ago
A very enjoyable, and very complex, 21 year old red blend from Pessac Léognan, Bordeaux.
Showing red and black fruits with earth, chocolates, tobacco, dark peppercorn, dark coffee, forest floor, green vegetables, graphites, vinaigrette and spices.
Needs 3 hours to open up properly and show the complexity.
Peaking now, and will be good in the next few years. What a treat. This is so delicious.
Wine Advocate 93 points.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses.
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc.
13% alcohol by volume.

Smooth robust with a berry burst.
Must have with cheese as well as alone — 7 years ago
Full body fruit blanced blend. Nice slip wine with cheese. — 8 years ago
Great bargain; enjoyed with nectarine and blue cheese salad; I agree it's clean and crisp; a good lemon-lime note. — 8 years ago
Never had a port this smooth. Paired well with cream cheese pound cake, strawberries and real whipped cream. — 9 years ago
Didn’t rate this as we were drinking but really enjoyed this Malbec with friends at a wine & cheese Super Bowl party — 7 years ago
The simple rating: more than does the job. Definitely love the crisp and dry taste that borders on being a "fake" sparkling after taste. I did pair this with a Sweetgreen Harvest Bowl that had kale, goat cheese, sweet potato, chicken, almonds...and more. The wine itself is keto friendly even though I am not, ha. — 7 years ago
Citrus, chalk and dusty rock on the nose. A champagne with great acidity and pretty dry. Pairs well with oysters and brie cheese — 8 years ago
Although this one did tend to have a citrus rich body, it is definitely a malo mouthfeel and more of a buttery chard. This wine was still quite delicious, and it's not really even my style. I was getting some lemongrass on the front, with a peach and mango note in the middle. The finish is more on the buttery side for my taste, but still went lovely with cheese and meat. Probably would have gone very well with Italian spiced nuts or with an herbal chicken dish. I believe this wine probably would have been more comprehensive if served with food. I think this one definitely has the longevity to age, but I'd put more stock in the Judge chard to do that most effectively. — 8 years ago
Enjoy it with cheese & antipasto. — 9 years ago
Fruity and caramel. It is good if you want a light white with my favorite flavors of a Chardonnay. Great for a cheap wine. — 9 years ago

Fantastic. Deep dark red with a bluish tinge. First taste after opening is a tidal wave of blackberry with lingering tannins. Not overly sweet or juicy tho.
After airing blackberry partially gives way to black current and tannins seem to intensify. Almost too bold to drink alone but not. A triple creme cheese with this would be perfection. — 7 years ago
