Liked this more than I expected. Subtle fruit… is it strawberry?… up front then a strong earthy / tobacco finish. Balanced and on palate first until tannins kick in to finish.

Unpopular opinion: I like this. I liked it 10 years ago, then I didn't like it when they sold, and now I like it again. Really pleasant raspberry, strawberry, slightly floral, and zero oak. Before they sold it was $16 now it's $23.

I met the winemaker David last year. Fresh and crisp, unusual for a Prosecco, 100% Glera, pleasant aromas of stone and tropical fruits. On the palate pear and peach flavors, good bubble flow, on dryer side, good balance between fruit and crispness (I prefer a dry Prosecco) ending clean and elegant. Pricey compared to the others out there, but comparison is like apples to oranges. A very nice Prosecco, one of the very best I have tasted, worth the price. — 6 years ago
