Taatelinen, kermaisen paahteinen. Hieno kokonaisuus! — 8 years ago
Blinded this hung with 2004 Palmer and 67 Lafite as the unexpected stand-out wine amongst classic old world producers. 2000 Opus in 2015. Scores listed are bias or consumed prematurely. — 8 years ago
Spicy jalapeño flavor — 9 years ago
Super old Bordeaux, dense, full, rich, long finish, lacks a tiny bit of the freshness of the 1983 Palmer, but super juice. — 9 years ago

My last bottle. Savored on an awful day; being and feeling alone. It’s funny how saving something for a “special” occasion can offer a different idea of the meaning of the word. October 19, 1987 was both my birthday and the stock market crash. Such a juxtaposition as like today with 89 Lynch Bages. Tomorrow might be 2000 Chateau Palmer. Happiness = Reality - Expectation. I’m in negative territory. — 6 years ago

Promising. L006 far far too young. Lovely tannins in the finish but will need a decade or three to articulate. — 9 years ago

Vi har köpt hus! 😎 Kan bara firas med en Palmers 2009:a. Smakar extra fint en solig vårdag som denna. — 6 years ago

2011. Cheesy, lees character with reduction, finishes with nuttiness. — 9 years ago
Aged perfectly. Great timing to open on Father's Day with a local steak. Cherry and mesquite notes. — 10 years ago

Did this as a vertical tasting 2012 Alter Ego, now onto secondary notes of stewed fruits, leather and coffee. Maybe not the case for all 2000s, but would even say this was a tad past it’s peak. — 6 years ago
