Excellent chenin from Cali that is very true to the grape, citrus fruits and zest, florals, chipped rock minerality, and the telltale lanolin that classic chenin will usually have. Great acidity, med/med+, nose and med+ palate and finish. Top domestic chenin! — 2 years ago
Excellent Merlot with dark Cherry boysenberry vanilla and oak notes. Great pairing with a ribeye off the grill. Decanted for one hour. — 4 years ago

5/2024. Very nice blend. Full of flavor. Sits well on the palate. Good finish. Paired well with the grilled bone in pork chop at Mr. Friendly’s. — a year ago
My father has a case of these 1983 BV in his father’s wine collection. Have sat undisturbed for a few decades since my grandfather passed. Opened this for Easter dinner if braised lamb shanks. Had some cork breakage but decanted and let it breathe… it was quite delicious! Looking forward to drinking the rest of his collection! — 3 years ago
Grapey and somewhat lacking in complexity/tannins. Tried it against a 2018 b cellars merlot and it didn’t match up well. — 4 years ago
Nose - pineapple, lemon zest, vanilla. Taste - citrus fruit and great vanilla flavor, little bit of caramel. Full bodied, with a good balance. Really good! — 5 years ago

Fantastic, was perfect with fried chicken — 6 years ago
A split rating between Lesley and Harry. Light tannins but slightly peppery very smooth across the palette…yummy! Especially sitting next to the Raspberry patch and eating my best burgers ever and broccoli harvested moments before cooking. TBD - s’mores are next on the agenda. Wish you were here!! — 10 months ago

A lovely Chardonnay! Semi-dry with nose of vanilla and mango. This is my new go-to Chard! — 5 years ago
Loving this rich, decadent example. Lots of cellaring runway ahead.

Region: Saint-Estephe Grape Variety: Bordeaux Blend Red ABV: 13.5% . "Ruby red with violet reflections in colour, on the nose, aromas of plum and cassis with notes of spices. On the palate, dry, oaky, smokey, spicy, fruity, hint of tobacco, touch of leather and toast, delivers red fruits character, balanced, lengthy, soft, silky, layered, mature, earthy, persisted, rich, firm. It has a long finish." — 8 months ago
