This is the Gamay de Beauregard @Delectable Wine
Lifting aromas of bright and alluring berry fruit. Insane levels of spice, loam, flowers, alpine, clean minerals, really floral and really mineral with a thick berry fruit as well. Unreal aromas. So layered and deep. Some hints of mulch and potting soil. Be $50+ in Côte d’Or. Palate has terrific energy and depth. Unreal mineralIty and freshness. Terrific inner mouth florals and so juicy. God level juicy then finishes with lovely tanginess and minerality. Unreal purity of fruit and so sappy. This is as good as natural Savoie gamay is gonna get. Super expressive wine of terroir and great fruit. No dirty poop. Great wine. — 5 years ago

Light bodied with little finish. Bright, fruity, and bitter — 7 years ago
Very happy to try this unusual alpine grape. Aroma presents straightforwardly fruity at first, with notes of cranberry and wild raspberry, but with time develops some mineral funk, some gamey/muskiness, and some vegetal characteristics. Medium tannins, medium+ juicy acidity. For me, this sits somewhere between a Cru Beaujolais and a Loire Cab Franc. Nice! — 8 years ago

Wonderful. Medium weight, medium finish, some blue & blackberry, but way in the background. There’s finesse here - maybe the age helped? — 3 years ago
Toasty biscuit, tart apricot, lime zest in the bouquet. Stone fruit, cave minerals, lemon curd, hints of golden apple on the palate. Zesty bubbly that’s well balanced... Happy New Year!! — 5 years ago

Rubis clair
Nez de petit fruit rouge léger épices et notes d orange sanguine avec l aeration
Bouche simple sur un très beau fruit sans boise
Finale sur les fruit rouges acidulés et une pureté crayeuse
Pourrait être un très beau chambolle musigny village

Big fan of Bugey Cerdon and this drinks a lot like BG. 8.5% ABV with a little residual sugar. Delicious with strawberry, raspberry and red cherry. The fruit is a little ripe and tasty. — 2 years ago
