Full body with a peppery after taste — 8 years ago
When I first tasted this wine I was concerned it has a food deal of oak. In the year or so since it becomes clear that the Malbec was more than up to the challenge. Violets on the nose, tightish but approachable tannins like bitter chocolate that soften with time in the glass. A great drink. Looking forward to trying this is 5 years. — 8 years ago
A bit bitey and very complex. Crisp for a red. — 8 years ago

Vino Marsala Vergine DOC, Riserva del Centenario 1980, Dry 19%. This wine ages for a minimum of 10 years in wooden barrels. Scents of resins, dry figs, a little caramel, and white champignons. 88/100 — 10 years ago
Notes of caramel, butterscotch and of course molasses. Incredibly smooth and long. Dangerously delicious. A great rum. — 8 years ago

Almost bubbly. Really refreshing and nice. — 7 years ago
Perfect way to start the evening- bubbly not to sweet- love following the Italian tradition of having the bubbles start out the evening.

It's snowing for the first time of the Fall season... So breaking the seal on a new bottle tonight. Normally drink the Ron Zacapa Centenario 23, which is a great, smooth rum (Carmel & Butterscotch notes heavy). Stepping up to the bigger brother tonight, we'll see how this goes...
Similar notes of Carmel, but less sweet than the 23 bottle, died fruit and a smokey note more closely associated with a single malt Scotch. One cube of ice really helped the nose bloom in the glass. Good bottle, but not worth the extra price, perhaps my opinion will evolve. — 7 years ago
