Brambles, garrigue. Lovely already. 2015 is a vintage to go deep on CdP. — 7 years ago
Full rating to come but on initial opening, it's a little brighter and lighter than I'd expected based on what I've read about the 2015s. Great purity, acidity balanced with red and blue fruit. Has a touch of a woodsy element but in balance. Really great on opening and this is the basic CdP. Can't wait to try more of these 2015s. — 7 years ago
Black raspberry, grilled meat, wet earth and garrigue. The wine threw an eighth of an inch of sediment. A very chewy and thoroughly enjoyable CDP, much more interesting than the base wine. @Bob McDonald thanks inspiring the pull. — 4 years ago
Pretty good CDP, but not as good as the arioso. — 5 years ago
Big Grenache fruit still, rich and ripe, has started to fade just a bit after 45 minutes open, really quite a fine 1990 CdP!! — 6 years ago
This is a delicate, almost feminine, CdP, but not without backbone. A bit simple, but everything seems to be in harmony. Very approachable at this young age. — 7 years ago
Yummy! Delicious CDP. Slight tannins, awesome texture. So easy to drink. — 7 years ago
Thanksgiving 2017. Awesome. — 7 years ago
Delicious. Pretty garnet color; perfume of perfectly ripe dark cherries, blackberries, marzipan and creme de cassis, along with fresh rosemary and a touch of black pepper. Balanced, elegant style of CDP, intoxicating nose. Tannins have settled in. Singing right now — 5 years ago
Really opened up around the 1.5 hr. mark. Gamey, fruity, peppery. Layered, lingering. What you want in a good CdP. — 5 years ago
Wow. So this young fresh fruity CDP settled in nicely about 30 minutes I. And drank nicely over a couple of hours. At great value on the list. — 6 years ago
Really lovable CDP. Pepper, stewed blackberry, rust, very balanced tannins. Not too big... not too small. Just right. — 7 years ago
Quite sweet. Plum but hint of vanilla extract and the minerality of typical CDP is a bit more muted. Tannic and medium bodied. Can def age longer to smooth out the tannins. — 7 years ago

See previous notes - just an outstanding CdP white comprising 80% Roussanne, 15% Grenache Blanc and a few other varieties. Lovely aromatics of musk, apricot and pear. The palate is rich without being heavy - a note of mandarin. Medium minus acid. Just delicious - finding yourself reaching for another glass. Easter Sunday aperitif. — 4 years ago
