Quite dark ruby color. Nose kind of follows with darker berry and cherry notes, musky/earthy element and some oak. On the palate wine is midweight+, suprisingly open and like nose suggested rather dark toned compared to what I've used to from this bottling. Had to check if I grabbed a Felsina CC instead of this. Anyway a solid CC in the making — 4 years ago
@Benjamin Keator had his hosting at the CC tonight and it was absolutely incredible. What a night of gorgeous wines! All wines are guessed blind.
My guess here was ‘04-06 French champagne. I couldn’t guess a house, but I was able to rule out what it wasn’t (PH, Dom, Krug). This wasn’t reductive enough to be west coast. Balanced sweetness and yeastiness well. — 7 years ago
A fabulous wine with hints of honey and pineapple. Bought from CC — 7 years ago

Pale ruby color. Aromas of raspberry... can’t unsmell the bubble gum wrapper @John Howard ! And rose stems. Fantastic flavors, loads of red fruit and a gorgeous finish. — 4 years ago
Fucking gorgeous, such value too. ‘15s are crushing it in CC. Perfumed, elegant, texturally silky, loads of class. Very upfront, immediate, not necessarily a wine of length. Minerality and finely textured tannin drive the wine, classic cherry, violet, and herbal tones of Sangiovese. Just love this wine every time I have it. — 7 years ago
One of my favorites. Unless it's been properly store the 2007 vintage is about out of time. They need to do a reboot of this wine. — 7 years ago
Dry with pronounces tannins. Two hours after decanting, it emergences much smoother and rather nice to drink now. Not quite the standard Fontodi CC, but a very enjoyable wine on its own. — 4 years ago
As a beverage manager I was seeking out a new BTG option that was a low-priced red which could pair with our fresh island fish plates. As soon as I tasted this I knew it was the one. Very bright red fruit, med-high acidity with herbal notes. I’m highly impressed by this CC 🤙 — 7 years ago
Everything I want in Sangiovese/CC at $25. Rockin concentration, juicy acid, fine tannin and perfect at the table. dark cherry fruit, menthol, black licorice, smoke, dust and violet. — 7 years ago
Not as round and full as u would expect CC but not a throw away by any stretch if u eat w meal that stands up to the bell pepper acidity — 7 years ago
