Pairs nicely with steak and lobster. — 8 months ago
Strong, bold taste right out of the bottle. Complex notes of brown sugar and oak. Very reminiscent of Caymus special! — 4 years ago
I Just picked it up from FedEx, trying one early. Not dissimilar to prior vintages, full bodied, extracted per norm. The finish is a little short but other than that🤷🏼♂️ ask a professional Somm.
Bought two .375 to drink & a mag to add to my vertical.
Even these high end wines are going the way of Austin Hope & Caymus. — 5 years ago

First, this is produced by Caymus with grapes from the Andes Mountains, and shipped to the Caymus vineyards! This main entry is incorrect, citing that is from South Africa. Some DB at Delectable should fix the entry. Second, it is full, rich, and flavorful. It is amazing. I highly recommend it! Woo!!! — 7 years ago

Really good red blend from Total Wine. Saved $10 by buying two. Paired nicely with charcuterie and even pizza. Red berries, Violet, and floral on the nose. — 9 months ago

Nice dark cherries and blackberries and plums with some spice and bramble on the nose and with good but not over-malo’d polish on the palette. Not very pinot-y but still very pleasant. Would drink this again. — 2 years ago
Fascinating. Caymus made Malbec from Andes grape shipped to Rutherford. Aged 14 mo in French oak and bottled Oct 2012. Dark ruby color and lush fruits and medium weight on palate with nice finish. Didn’t pair so well with dinner but a good drink on its own. AA9 value. — 5 years ago
Wonderful light refreshing wine. Perfect for summer. — 7 years ago
Malbec grapes grown in Argentina, transported to Napa and bottled by Caymus. Deep rich color and amazing complex flavors of dark fruit, vanilla and.dark chocolate. But you must open and allow to breathe- it just gets better. Bottled in 2013. — 8 years ago
