Bright fruits of cherry and boysenberry at front with tannins rounding out the finish. Benefited from a bit of time to breath. Nice Chianti — 5 years ago
Nice Sicilian insolia. Lovely citrus on the palate. 2018 vintage in August 2020. Pared well with lasagna. Great wine to sip in summer. — 5 years ago

Smooth, tasty blend of flavors! Great with Argentinian steak — 9 years ago
Citrus and fruit. Had with deep fried calamari and shrimps, definitely balanced them. — 10 years ago
The 2021 Grillo seduces with its sweetly floral and green citrus tinged bouquet, as crushed rocks give way to honeysuckle and lemon custard. A core of sour lime and melon tones add contrast. The palate is left reeling with mouthwatering tension and a lingering minty herbal streak. $19.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022) — 3 years ago
Just fine, smooth, from stew Leonard’s — 8 years ago
On sent la présence des minéraux, un belle finale souple... se prend bien en apéro et très certainement avec des fruits de mer ou même des fromages...!

May look average, but it's not. Tons of value in this Sicilian blend. — 9 years ago
Very nice intro to this style. Complements scotch fillet well — 4 years ago
First wintery Sunday with depressing cold drizzle. My response: home cooked Pasta Fagiole with soft Japanese yeast bread with lots of butter. What a wonderful comfort food match. The Etna Nero d’avola is young, juicy, and fruit-forward. Cassis, Boysenberry, and bright citrus notes. Medium weight, nice viscosity, and enough acidity to stand up to the tomato’s and good olive oil drizzle. Touch of green stems actually balances the fruit. Nice long finish and makes me consider picking up a few more for rustic pizza/pasta. — 5 years ago
Great earthy volcanic soil. Smooth — 7 years ago
Big violet bouquet from this swarthy suitor. Ripe blackberry, cassis and eucalyptus and cinnamon-allspice plum follow. Black cherry, black plum, tobacco, cedar and cherrywood on the palate. This one's rich, so definitely overdo it. — 10 years ago
