2006 vintage. The first vintage for Caroline Frey to be in charge. This shows beautifully now for a wine that was totally underrated by Robert Parker on release. While it may not have the depth and power of the greatest vintages of this iconic wine, this 2006 is a terrific wine in it's own right. Complex nose with spices, black fruit, tobacco and cedar. In the mouth it is beautifully balanced with bright acidity embracing layers of black fruit and spices and velvety tannin. Impressive length too. Abv. 14%. — 4 years ago
Lovely, pure cherry fruit. Crunchy acidity makes you come back for more and more. — 5 years ago
Full-bodied Rosé tasting of cream, vanilla, and white fruit. An extraordinary and more complex Rosé than I have had generally had.

2023/3. Wild, woodsy red fruit, flowers and their stems and a touch of spice on the nose. Translucent stony fruit in the mouth - the acidity feels a little low (due to the vintage) but instead of feeling blowsy it comes across as alkaline - like burgundy made with Contrex. — 3 years ago
Watermelon. Low alcohol, refreshing. Bough at new horizons in solvang and drank at home with laura and Caroline with poached sea bass and leeks. — 4 years ago
Light, fruity, juicy, nice white wine. — 4 years ago
Superbe Santenay rouge 2018 de Caroline Morey, des fruits rouges, c’est frais, aérien, minéral, le fruit est délicieux et généreux, bel équilibre, très belle bouteille.
Delicious 2018 Santenay from Caroline Morey, gorgeous generous red fruit, fresh, mineral even, balanced, great value, love it.

Wine - it can take you places. Last night reminiscing about recent Paris travels so I pulled this beaute to enjoy with a friend. @55Seventy

In rare halfsie form, ‘19 Caillerets is simply electric, demonstrative, intense and voluminous with superb depth and racy acids driving all its flavors home. Stunning. — 10 months ago
