Drank this vintage with good friends who are constantly introducing bottles who are part of the duckhorn delivery club or whatever subsidiary duckhorn has. They opened it at the end of dinner. Honestly this was bottle number 2 after 3 NEIPAs already onboard. It was very smooth, fruity, incredibly balanced and I dont think any of us even put our glasses down while enjoying. What a blast! — 7 years ago
This 2012 is perfect right now — mellow but still velvety with lots of dark fruit. Plums. — 8 years ago
Light vin gris with raspberry notes lending a night tartness to it. Not as mind blowing as I had hoped but I love Goldeneye wine. — 8 years ago
Dark ripe fruits, bit of earthiness in the nose, tannin forward on the first sip, complex flavor burst in the mouth, tannin quickly dissipates and left with warm happiness.. great dipping wine by itself rather than pairings with food at least for me — 5 months ago
Light, red berry, lightly tannic with a little caramel and leather. — 9 months ago
Tart, light acidity, great “steak dinner” white wine, went well with a classic Wedge Salad. — a year ago
