A great obscure Merlot from duck horn. Enjoyed it after an hour or two of breathing with a prime fillet. Hints of cherries but much more complex and not fruit in your face. Earthy feel with a smooth finish. First time I have enjoyed rector creek. Rank it up there with candlestick vineyard from duck horn.
