Theyβve solved Fiano! Who knew? Appassimento method applied to this grape is absolutely delicious. It starts with a honeydew kick in the teeth before reminding you this is still a bad ass acidic Italian beast. What a solid contribution to the wine world! β 6 years ago
100% Sangiovese. Medium ruby color. Aromas of red cherry, red geraniums, tomato leaf and leather. Black cherry fruit leads the palate with additional notes of tobacco, minerals and savory spices. Long and earthy finish. Firm structure and tannins but extremely well balanced. Acidity is bright and well incorporated. Vibrant and elegant. A very pleasant surprise. Outstanding QPR! β a year ago
Very nice nm/nc blend. Raspberry pomegranate notes light tannins. Grenachy. β 4 years ago

This Abruzzo white wine is tinted yellow. It smells of citrus, mostly - Meyer lemon, lime and tangerine. There is also an earthy aroma like that of apricots. The apricot note is more noticeable on the palate, with all that citrus coming along for the ride. The acidity is quite fresh, very refreshing. The finish is medium and carries apricot and salinity, along with the Meyer lemon. β 5 years ago

I've been passing this in the shop for about a year and bought it tonight. It's delicious! What a fool I've been.
