Bonisimo! Blackberries, licorice, tobacco, and spice. Smoothest Cannonau we have ever had. — 2 years ago
Really interesting Nebbiolo wine. — 6 months ago
Superb wine drinking following making authentic pesto the old way. — a year ago
Falanghina is as flexible as it gets, pears, apricots, jasmine. Acidity to carry the bubbles. Light and structured. — a year ago
Like this one a lot. A very bright, fresh, mineral, sappy Barbera, not quite like any other I’ve had. Crunchy red fruit, roasted sweet cherry tomato, a touch of menthol on the noise. A soft herbal quality, medium plus acids and good structure. Tannins are firm but never astringent and soften nicely with about an hour of air. Would decant next time. — 3 years ago
The northern Italian red version of a Golden Retriever-the 30% Barbera, I suspect, adds a sunny brightness to the more soulful, young Nebbiolo. Some Negrette too. Vibrant almost cadmium red color. Fresh rose petals offset by that lipstick red fruit. My house red in previous years. — 7 months ago
