2014 vintage, imbibed Aug/2019. Needed decanting ... very closed at first, practically no nose at all. Began to open up after a half hour to 45 minutes. Eventually - good fruit, big body, but tannins well controlled. I had my doubts at first, but ended up really enjoying with a hearty beef dinner. β 6 years ago
Great Italian Cabernet Sauvignon blended with Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Well balanced. I will buy more then drink it! β 7 years ago
Dark chocolate raspberry and granite. Idk, not sure how this climbs the ladder to 9.2... I respect it and see how folks dig it but I'm not buying a case. β 8 years ago
Dry lighting and very tasty. β 8 years ago
Whole Foods love it too much β 9 years ago
Good nerello with minimal oak. Needs lots of time to show itself, oddly, then iron and the volcanic minerals show. Definitely lighter than most which I appreciate. β 9 years ago
Very acidic with pear notes β 6 years ago
Dark fruit, tinge of shiitake mushroom, give it an hour for the funk to mellow β 6 years ago
Wow! Wish I bought more of these at $16. Amazing. Big dark fruit, tobacco, leather, and cinnamon. Love it! β 6 years ago
Having purchased several bottles, I wanted to give this a test run. Let it decant for two hours and indeed, she rewarded me. A huge nose of dried red flowers, violets, cranberry, cherry, a hint of earth and tar. Drinking fairly well now but she needs to lay for a few years to fully reward you. Carema is a wonderful region for Nebbiolo! β 8 years ago
This is a great tasting Moscato for the price. Love the fact that I can get it at my local grocery store. β 9 years ago
Fruity but surprisingly I like it! Smooth and easy to drink. β 9 years ago
Smooth, tart, funky, buttery, rich, delicious. The typa whites I like. $24 β 6 years ago

Grape seed, cherry, lovely acidity and slight sweetness. Glouglou!!! β 6 years ago
Decanted and was surprisingly fruit forward with relatively subdued tannins. Notes of plum, licorice, and black cherry. I enjoyed with a plate of sausage and peppers with penne, but could certainly be drunk on its own. Very nice! β 8 years ago
One of the best Tuscan merlots I can think I've had. Extremely inviting creme de cassis, ripe blackberries, cedar closet, menthol on nose. Dark fruit, baking spices, extracted black tea on palette. Developed nicely over course of a few hours. Finish is somewhat rustic and unlike the aroma or taste but give sense of place and I think will soften over time. β 9 years ago

Natural montepulciano. Comes in a clear bottle π€·πΌββοΈ. Fully enjoyable, especially with rustic Italian fare. Quite farty on the nose. Tad spritzy. Slightly under ripe cherry on the palate with a minty kick. Tobacco and herbs. This has really nice verve and presence and I love the texture - lactic, almost creamy. Finishes with grainy tannins. Very alive. Tastes like a barrel sample. Drained quickly. β 5 years ago
