Lovely medium bodied with nice fruit and lush mouth feel. Slight acidity to balance and add dryness without being tannic. — 6 months ago
Reona's birthday dinner wine. Needed decanting and a lot of airing to open up and take the edge off. — 7 months ago

Deep Ruby with pronounced aromas of ripe dark berry fruits and earthy forest floor notes, from a 3.7-acre plot, the estate’s highest-elevation vines (1,475 feet). On the palate flavors of black cherry and plum with cacao, cedar, espresso and pepper spice. Fine tannins, great balance, complex long finish ending with earthy herbs, fruit and oaky notes. Nice! Small production, less than 700 cases made! — 7 months ago

Great and cheap — 4 years ago
A few years ago Spanish wine was a total bargain. Then they figured out they could send us junk. I stopped buying. But in desperation recently I got this and was surprised. Really pretty good and both varietals are very present. Even better after a day, showing some interesting depth. Maybe cheapie Spanish wines are back to being bargains. — 6 years ago
Extra points for value. Tasty on opening with strawberries raspberries cinnamon and a touch of clove spiciness. Medium bodied with a short finish. Good pairing with chicken chili tonight. — 6 months ago

Deep black heart with star bright reflection. Nose of pipe tobacco and black plum are pierced by bitumen, pepper and licorice, black bread toast and grilled meat. On the palate, tart black cherries lead red cherries with dark juice bordering reduction, tobacco is prevalent but moist and sweet; graphite, smoke and charred oak just hinting. 2015 vintage in magnum making a more cohesive statement on day two. Baked fruits and bricking show the years, but unwavering quality and tannin keeping it chewy, luscious and solid rim to rim. Lovely Rosso Veneto to champion all comforts.
