Pop and pour, and this was excellent; wish I had bought a lot more. On the nose: soft honey, lemon lime, soft vanilla: transparent oak influence?, but nevertheless charming. On the palate: good acidity, wet stone, oily lime, nice finish. Disappearing quickly. — 3 years ago

Required almost 2 hours of decanting. It was quite the experience because this Barolo continued to evolve and provide new flavours throughout the night. Plums, figs, berries, strawberries, raspberries, followed by vanilla, oak, humidor notes, earth, mild herbaceousness, truffles. Tannins are big, chewy but soft and persist for a long time. It’s a complex wine that provides gifts of new flavours that are very well integrated. — 5 years ago
