Aux Cras Beaune 1er Cru Pinot Noir 2012

Give it a 15 min decant. Has a unique flavor profile. Minerals, faint cherries 🍒 tart oranges may be touch of bergamot the juice not the zest. And something which reminds me of a cut lawn which starts to dry out. Interesting juice. At its peak. — 7 years ago

Vieilles Vignes Beaune Pinot Noir 2010

This is the Veilles Vignes version /old vines it was an exclusive at K & L wines. Needs more time. Elegant. Better than last time perhaps i am in a better mood? Lovely slightly bitter. Green apple, chalk, hint off white pepper. Quite tannic. I should have not opened this. — 9 years ago

Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2004

We had this wine on our date night at Monteverde celebrating restaurant week. Opens up with scents of prunes and forest floor. The flavors are pleasant and structured. Wine does not change over time in the decanter and kind of disappoints. I was skeptical about this wine based on the price and let this muddle my thoughts. Overall not bad for the price — 9 years ago

Viré-Clessé Chardonnay 2014

Can tell that everything is there to be a great wine but it just feels like the age has taken a bit off of it's zippy exciting edge. Feels and tastes a little flat. Like I would have probably loved this 2 years ago...

Still solid though.
