Fun fruity Spanish wine with zesty tannins and a spicy finish. Tasted great immediately after I opened it. Was OK the second day, but no need to decant or aerate this one. — 5 months ago
N:Melon flesh, burnt sugar, cotton candy, river stones/bleached. Something very elemental, almost like clay. apples.
P: Bright but not overtly acidic, gentle tannins, mouth puckering, burnt sugar, white/yellow flowers. VERY Interesting.
100% Viura on the skins for a year, maybe?
Opened the bottle, slo-ox about an hour. As this warms and oxidizes, you just want to stick your nose in the glass and leave it there.

Oh wow that nose! Tar, oak, vanilla, blackberry, cherry... That's an intense nose. The palate is well designed with a great acid drive, some extreme width, some thick matter on the sides, you could chew through it... The mid palate is made of massive sphere of fun with gentle, caressing tannins, before a great finish with oaky notes, that tannic layer and these blackberry and cherry notes that last for ever. Great stuff! — 4 months ago

Good fruit, some over-ripe notes, fine tannin. Overall good QPR for $16.

Such rustic and funky wine! Love it. Pale color, forest floor, red fruits, and foxy. Good acidity and saline taste, medium length. Decant it at least an hour. — a year ago
Once again this is vinho Verde at its very best. Pear, cantaloupe, chalk. There's that mineral thing on the nose that tells you it's going to be great 😊 the palate is very well made with a great acid backbone, a good width and mouthfeel, some pear and slightly lemony notes, before a long and fresh finish that goes on for a while. Why is everyone overlooking Vinho Verde? — a year ago
